反思現有教育之後…

台灣全人中學,以民主為本,由學生議決學校重大生活事務;維持自由氣氛,讓學生能長出追尋自由所需的能力和勇氣。

香港自然學校,以自然為師,尊重學生差異與特質,強調學生是學習的主體,老師是學習的促進者。

有人會問:在受保護和較自由沒壓迫的環境學習,會不會讓學生難以面對充滿壓迫的現實社會?

然而,回顧我們學習的路,眾多的功課測驗考試校規,我們學到了甚麼?

如果心有不甘,不如也來了解全人中學如何教育(學習),聽聽自然學校的經驗分享,一同交流對理想教育的想法吧!

content: screening of school life videos by students from holistic education school and discussion (videos are in chinese subtitles)
guest speakers: teacher and student representatives from holistic education school and teacher, student and parent representatives from rtc gaia school

holistic education school is a taiwanese school upholding democracy as guiding principle, in which students can make decisions on important living affairs. it also maintains the free school environment that helps students to build up the capacity and courage to pursue freedom.

rtc gaia school in hong kong learns from nature, and respects the uniqueness and characteristics of each student. it stresses the subjectivity of students in study, while teachers become the facilitators of it.

when talking about alternative education, some may ask, “will this protective, relatively free and repression-free learning environment, make students difficult to confront the repressive and realistic society?”

however, reviewing our past learning experience which is filled with tons of homework, quizzes, examinations and rules, what have we learnt?

if you are also not satisfied with the present education, let’s join our activity to know more about how Holistic educates (or learns from) students, listen to the sharing from RTC Gaia School, and engage in the dialogue on ideal education with them!
